About the studio
PG Soft (full name Pocket Games Soft) grew out of the idea that a slot should be built for a phone first rather than ported to one. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Malta with development spread across Asia, it has a recognisable style: hand-drawn animation at mobile-game level, portrait orientation and mechanics such as cascades with growing multipliers.
Its flagship is Mahjong Ways and its sequels, which built a huge audience in South-East Asia. Fortune Ox, Fortune Tiger and Lucky Neko made the studio visible in Latin America. PG Soft has far fewer titles than the giants, but almost every release is an event for its audience.
