About the studio
Play’n GO began in 1997 in Växjö, Sweden, as a contractor building games for other platforms, and only became an independent studio in 2005. The company deliberately stays private and refuses to sell to holding groups — a rarity in an industry where almost every big name has long been acquired.
Book of Dead (2016) is one of the most recognisable slots in history and the de facto standard for the “book” genre: its expanding symbol in free spins has been copied hundreds of times.
