About the studio
Pragmatic Play is the most visible studio in online slots, and a rare case of a company built from almost nothing in ten years. It appeared in 2015 in Malta when a team acquired the assets of TopGame and relaunched it under a new name. Yulia Loginova led the company at the start; since 2017 Irina Kornilova has run it as COO, turning the studio into a conveyor belt shipping several releases a month.
Headquartered in Malta with offices in Gibraltar, the UK, the Philippines, India, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Brazil and Canada. The turning point came in 2019 with Wolf Gold, and the status was sealed by The Dog House, Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus — three games that defined a whole generation of slots built on tumbling reels and bonus buy.
