Stake Licenses: Curaçao and Brazil

The stake.com website is owned by Medium Rare N.V. and operates under a Curaçao Gaming Authority license, number OGL/2024/1451/0918.

There is a separate Brazilian version, stake.bet.br, managed by Stake Brazil Ltda. It holds a local license issued by the Brazilian Ministry of Finance, Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas, number PORTARIA SPA/MF Nº 263.

This is an important distinction. The Brazilian license represents genuine state regulation starting in 2025, with requirements for payouts and player protection. The Curaçao license, after the LOK reform, became stricter than it was, but it still remains offshore: disputes with the casino are resolved under local law, not yours.
