Why there's nothing to return in Originals
The first line of the calculator always shows zero, and that's not a mistake. All eleven of Duel's proprietary games claim a zero house edge — Dice, Mines, Plinko, Crash, Blackjack, Keno, Castle Roulette, Video Poker, Beef, Rock Paper Scissors, and Methlabs are marked with 100% RTP.
Returning a percentage of zero is meaningless: there's nothing to return. But this doesn't mean you're at a loss — on the contrary, it's an extreme case. The mathematical expectation of a round is zero, and rakeback anywhere else only brings you closer to that zero, never reaching it.
It's worth stating directly, because the marketing around "the first casino with 100% payout" is noisy: zero mathematical expectation does not mean you will end up in profit. It means that over an infinite distance, you will return to where you started. Over a finite distance, variance is at play, and it can take you in any direction — including to zero balance. Blackjack: the most interesting case
This is where Duel's model looks most convincing. Blackjack, when played with basic strategy, yields a house edge of about 0.5%, and up to 80% rakeback is applied to it.
Let's calculate: one hundred thousand turnover at 0.5% is five hundred dollars in expected losses. Eighty percent of that, four hundred dollars, is returned to the balance immediately. One hundred remains. The effective house edge drops to 0.1% — a figure unmatched by any land-based casino in the world and almost any online one.

Comparison with Stake

Fifty percent versus three and a half — that's a 14.3 times difference on the same turnover. The mechanics are identical: in both cases, money comes to the main balance without wagering and can be withdrawn immediately.
To be fair, the other side must also be added. Stake has eight years of operation behind it, a Curacao license, a separate Brazilian license, and turnover measured in billions. Duel launched in July 2025 and operates under an Anjouan license — a significantly lighter jurisdiction. Where the percentages are taken from
Duel publishes the formula and mechanics in its help section. Specific percentages – 50% on slots and live casino, up to 80% on blackjack – are taken from their reference materials and confirmed by several independent reviews. The number within your account may differ: the platform is new, and conditions are still evolving.
Therefore, the house edge for slots and live games is manually selected in the calculator. Four percent is a typical value for a slot with 96% RTP, but a specific game can have three or six. Check the RTP in the game itself and input it: the output number will change significantly.
How to use this in practice
The main thing the calculator shows is not the return amount, but the effective house edge in the last column. This is what determines how much the game costs you.
Slots with 4% and half rakeback cost the same 2% as a regular slot with 98% RTP – and such slots are almost non-existent. Blackjack with 0.1% is cheaper than any casino on the planet. Originals are free in terms of expected value.
But none of these numbers equate to "profitable." Zero is zero, not a plus. The only way to come out ahead in the long run is not to play; everything else only reduces the cost of entertainment. Rakeback should be viewed as a discount, not as income.
